From Charlottesville, VA, Ford Scott is a member of the W&L men's basketball team. Ford also showcases his leadership and technical skills as the founder of the Washington and Lee Cybersecurity Club. His passion for ethical hacking and offensive security is matched by his commitment to social justice and equality. A talented saxophonist, Ford brings a creative touch to his diverse range of interests. His deep-rooted feminist values and curiosity about the evolving portrayal of women in university publications have been key motivators in his involvement with this project.

Jeniffer Ventura (She/Her)

Jeniffer Ventura, a junior at Washington and Lee University, brings a unique perspective to this project. Majoring in Sociology with minors in Poverty and Capability Studies and Digital Culture and Information, Jeniffer's academic background enriches her understanding of societal dynamics. Her interest in the project is deeply personal as a woman keen to explore and critically analyze how her gender has been portrayed in the university's history. Throughout the project, Jeniffer has noted a trend of increasing sexualization in the representation of women, a discovery that underscores the importance of this exhibition. Her enthusiasm for sharing these insights is a testament to her commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of gender portrayals.
