EN The Manufacturing Industry in the Federal District of Mexico (1934) is a historical text that gives a perspective on how the relations between the United States and the Pan-American countries have not changed in the last eighty years. The text is part of a series on finance, industry, and trade in the Pan American countries that, according to the text, "Is devoted to the development and progress of trade and friendly relations and to promoting better intelligence between [Pan American countries]." Originally, it was published in the magazine called Economic geography and was part of a "monthly bulletin edited in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, which contains a concise account of Pan-American progress." Now the library keeps it in a protective sleeve to protect the pages. In advocating for economic relations in North America, he paints a very optimistic picture of industry in Mexico. The text says “… there is no doubt that industry and commerce are called upon to develop considerably in Mexico” to explain the need for American aid for progress in Mexico. In addition, he talks about “the old manual industries” with “the industrialism of the 20th century” to emphasize Mexico's hope to develop, but the lack of resources necessary to do so. There are many black and white photos that serve as examples of old equipment and factories that are less developed than those in the United States. Pan Americanism still exists in the world, which speaks to the relevance of this article. There are articles today with the same sentiments as this article, which proves the importance of studying historical texts and learning about our history because it always repeats itself.

ES La Industria Fabril en el Distrito Federal de México (1934) es un texto histórico que da una perspectiva sobre como las relaciones entre los Estados Unidos y los países Panamericanas no han cambiado en los últimos ochenta años. El texto es parte de una serie sobre finanzas, industria, y comercio en los países Panamericanas que según al texto, “está consagrada al desarrollo y progreso del comercio y de las relaciones de amistad y a promover mejor inteligencia entre [países Panamericanas].” Originalmente, fue publicado en la revista se llama geografía económica y fue parte de un “boletín mensual editado en español, inglés, y portugués, que contiene una relación concisa del progreso panamericano.” Ahora, la biblioteca lo mantiene en una funda protectora para proteger las páginas. En advocando para relaciones economías en Norte América, pinta una pintura muy optimista de industria en México. El texto dice “…es indudable que la industria y el comercio están llamados a desarrollarse considerablemente en México” para explicar la necesidad de ayuda americana para progreso en México. Además, habla sobre “las viejas industrias manuales” con “el industrialismo de siglo XX” para enfatizar la esperanza de México desarrollar, pero la falta de recursos necesarios para hacerlo. Hay muchas fotos de blanco y negro que sirvan como ejemplos del equipo antiguo y las fábricas que son menos desarrollados que las en los Estados Unidos. Panamericanismo todavía existe en el mundo, que habla a la relevancia de este artículo. Hay artículos hoy con los mismos sentimientos de este artículo, que prueba la importancia de estudiar textos históricos y aprender sobre nuestra historia porque siempre repite su mismo.
