Washington and Lee University's Mock Convention is known as one of the most accurate Mock Conventions in the country and has been an integral part of the Washington and Lee experience since its creation in 1908. While this convention has evolved greatly over the years with advancements in technology, the role of the student in this entirely student run event has remained vital. This digital exhibit is a collection of photographs, documents and interviews archiving student involvement in Mock Con spanning from the event's inception to the present day.

This digital exhibit was created to provide a platform for members of the Washington and Lee community to learn or reminisce about the unique nature of its very own Mock Convention. It is made to remind alumni of their special times on campus and to show current students the events they have to look forward to. This collection will also reach W&L faculty and staff who were, or wish to become, involved in this tradition. It also exists to educate future students about Washington and Lee’s Mock Convention, hopefully inspiring them to become involved in the event.
