Mission Statement
We hope to educate viewers on Mock Convention and the role of student involvement within the convention. We also hope this exhibit will bring back fond memories for current students, alumni and other members of the University and broader community.
Kit Hamill ‘20 is a senior at Washington and Lee University from New Canaan, CT. She is a Mathematics major and Computer Science minor. After graduation, she is working at J.P. Morgan on the Leveraged Finance team in New York City. Kit was a member of the W&L’s Women’s Soccer team during her four years on campus as well as a Peer Advisor for the Career and Development Office. Kit was a member of the Mississippi Delegation for the 2020 Mock Convention. Additionally, Kit is on the philanthropy board of her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma. In her free time, Kit enjoys doing math brainteasers and binging various Netflix shows.
Agnes King ‘20 is a senior at Washington and Lee University from Spartanburg, SC. She is a Business Administration major and Mass Communications minor. After graduation, she will be working for SunTrust on their Commercial Real Estate team. Most recently, Agnes was a member of the North Carolina Delegation for W&L’s 2020 Mock Convention. Additionally, she served on the chapter council of Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Zeta Tau chapter as the chief communicator between her chapter and the national headquarters. In her free time, Agnes enjoys playing with her dog, Foofy, and researching skincare products.
Evy Verbinnen ‘20 is a senior at Washington and Lee University from New York, NY. She is an Accounting and Business Administration major. After graduation, she is working at Prudential on the Real Estate Investment team. During her time at W&L, Evy was heavily involved in Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Zeta Tau chapter as PR chair, then VP of Standards. Evy was an integral member of the Mississippi delegation and its float team for Mock Convention 2020. In her free time, Evy enjoys arts and crafts, playing tennis, chatting with her friends and obsessing over anti-aging mechanisms.
